Our Charity offers many different Sports.
Your group will need to choose a maximum of 6 sports.

ARCHERY
Try your hand at archery, this exciting sport is suitable for all ages and abilities, enabling everyone to challenge themselves and develop skills such as accuracy, concentration and mental discipline. Learn how to group your arrows, check your dominant eye and alter your style to achieve a great score.

BADMINTON
Badminton is one of the most played sports in the United Kingdom, with over a million of us taking to the court each month – so, whether you want to play some casual rallies with a pal or have a competitive game, badminton is for anyone. It is an easy sport to pick up, most leisure centres have courts and you can hire racquets and shuttlecocks.

BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL
Both baseball and softball utilize a round ball, a round bat and a glove. Both sports involve a pitcher throwing the ball to a batter with the hopes of getting him or her “out.” Our programme is designed to assist players’ growth and development in all areas of their game. It is open to boys and girls aged 10-25. Players in each age group will be evaluated on entry and will work towards individual targets and goals throughout the season to help them focus their winter training and gain maximum results from this key development time.

BEAVERS
Beavers is all about having fun, making friends, and learning new skills. In our Beavers programme, the group will try out a huge range of activities, which might include science experiments, crafts, den building and more. We also go on day trips, sleepovers and camps, giving many Beavers a real adventure – their first week away from home!

CAMPING
We all know camping is a fantastic activity, providing hours of enjoyment and a welcome opportunity to connect with loved ones, as well as nature.
But that’s just the start. Did you also know that a whole range of wonderful health benefits result from camping? From physical and mental aids to those that are tailor made for children, these benefits ensure there’s even more reason why you should spend a night under the stars. Camping helps with problem solving, is great for children’s education, helps you sleep better, increases your vitamin D intake, leads to increased exercise and makes you happier.

CYCLING
Group Cycling is a fantastic way to get fit initially and keep fit. The sessions are there to help riders become safer and more skilled riders It’s intense and perfect for building both cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone, while it’s also relatively low impact on the knees and other joints, meaning you’re less likely to hurt yourself, allowing you to keep exercising for longer, helping you get fit more quickly and without injury interruptions.

DODGEBALL
All of our sessions work towards a specific skill within Dodgeball, whilst being full of fun and energy.
The skills learnt in our Dodgeball sessions will also provide essential core movement skills needed to compete in many other sports. These include ABCs, throwing, catching and reactions.

EQUESTRIAN AND HORSE RIDING
Our programme aims to open doors that have not been visibly present before in the Equestrian world. Our ethos is focused on widening the participation of those with the least experience in the Equestrian world and who have the least access to it. Our services are especially beneficial to inner-city children.
Though it may appear that the horse is ‘doing all the work’, horseback riding is actually a fun and effective way to get your kids to become more physically active.
A great isometric exercise, it requires the body to fully utilize the core muscles as well as the inner thighs and pelvic muscles to keep balance on the horse. This helps to improve the posture of the rider as well as maintain a good level of muscle tone & flexibility.

FOOTBALL
SS4L will have the right programme for you.
You can train with our skilled coaches, developing your football prowess with mentors and coaches who are committed to helping you enjoy football training.
SS4L caters for several sports such as Soccer, Gaelic Football, Hurling and Rugby.
Regardless of what they play, your team will have an amazing time on our pitch.

GOLF
SS4L provides a fun way for children from 4 to 19 years old to learn how to play golf and improve their skills. Under the guidance of our Professional Coaches, every junior’s progress is monitored through lessons and competitions.
Our philosophy is to make our sessions fun and productive. Our Golf program is based on the promotion and development of life skills through playing and learning.

GROUP EXERCISE
Team building games and activities help a group of people learn to work with each, discover what each other’s strengths and weaknesses are and just generally get to know each other better.
These team building games are great for doing that primary team bonding and growing.

GYMNASTICS
SS4L is committed to providing maximum opportunities for all our gymnasts to achieve their full potential. We believe gymnastics contributes to giving young children and teenagers a positive focus in life and enriches them with great life skills to take forward into adulthood.

HANDBALL
Handball is the most exciting, high scoring, action packed team sport that can be played anywhere by anyone. Handball is fast-paced so great for fitness. It also helps improve skills such as throwing and jumping. Being a team sport means handball is social and a good way of meeting new friends.
SS4L focuses on technical, tactical, physical and cognitive development.

RUNNING
SS4L’s running program is designed to develop movement skills in children and youth of all ages and abilities through a mix of running activities. Here, participants build confidence, gain motivation, and fuel their desire to stay active.

SCOUTS
Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives. Try new things. Provide service to others. Build self-confidence. The SS4L team is confident that children and youth would not be the same at the end of their programme.

SWIMMING
SS4L’s indoor heated swimming pool is the perfect place to care for a child’s health in a safe environment. Swimming is an excellent form of low-impact cardiovascular exercise for the whole body. It builds self-confidence and life skills. As well as providing fun and enjoyment, with every new stroke a child learns, they will be developing self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

TABLE TENNIS
Table tennis offers great mind-body stimulation, aerobic exercise, and social interaction. Some of the many health benefits of table tennis include: Improving hand-eye coordination. An intense game of table tennis stimulates mental alertness and concentration and develops mental acuity.

TENNIS
Tennis improves your aerobic capacity since it requires a lot of running and walking. You increase your oxygen intake during every game, which speeds up your heart rate, delivers oxygen and nutrients more efficiently to the muscles, and improves your endurance. Either indoors or outdoors, SS4L’s program is exceptional.

VOLLEYBALL
Volleyball improves muscle strength and tone. The activities required when playing volleyball strengthen the upper body, arms, shoulders, thighs, abdominals, and lower legs. In addition, volleyball improves hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and balance. A week with our rigorous volleyball program with transform the perspective of any youth.

WALKING
Walking is a great way to improve or maintain your overall health. Just 30 minutes every day can increase cardiovascular fitness, strengthen bones, reduce excess body fat, and boost muscle power and endurance. SS4L’s daily walking program will help you get a test of what could be a lifelong skill/hobby..
